It means a great deal to us to receive your comments and reviews.
However, we always caution people about trusting any reviews they see about pet crematoriums. There are two reasons for this.
Firstly, they could well be fake. There is a big industry geared towards writing fake reviews. We will never take part in this.
Secondly, it is very difficult for people to be able to judge a pet crematorium. Most reviews you read will be focused on how nice the people were or how beautifully the ashes were presented. Whilst these are important points it does not mean the cremation was carried out properly or honestly.
Having said all that we would greatly appreciate your placing a review of our services. It truly matters to us to receive your comments and we take careful note of everything that is said to us.
In addition it will give us enormous help in promoting our services. We are increasingly reliant on word of mouth and internet advertising to reach our clients. Your review will help us to keep up the top of the Google rankings and ensure more people are able to use our services.
Placing reviews on Google or Facebook requires you to have accounts with them . These are free but if you do not wish to do this then please place one on our own website by clicking on the “Click Here to Submit Your Review” button below.
With our thanks and appreciation.

I had to have my cat "Pickles" put down very unexpectedly on the 10/02/2012, thought we would just be given some tablets by the vet and go home.
My daughter arranged an appointment with Chestnut Lodge and I have to say I was amazed at the way we was treated, being met at the car, my cat being laid in the little chapel place, they was so caring and accommodating. I collected "Pickles" the next day, and again the service was outstanding.
I didn't feel in anyway that it was a business, just somewhere people could take their animals for cremation, I didn't feel any pressure to have to leave when I first took him there.
And I would definatly use this service again when my dog leaves us to join Pickles

On Sunday 15th January 2012 my mum made a decision to have Purdy put to sleep at the age of 20. She now has a beautiful sleeping cat casket which sits by the fire bringing much comfort to my mum who has her home again. Thanks to Coastway Vets who actually gave my mum a brochure without this we would have not known anything about this beautiful place Chestnut Lodge.

We sadly lost our old cat Hedges on Christmas day. We have used Chestnut Lodge in the past for our Springer Toby. They are compationate and understanding but above all professional. The cremation was dealt with promptly and Hedges returned to us the following day. For all of us who love our pets, it can be a comfort to bring our loved ones home. She now lies with Toby in the garden and we can gaze and remember. Thankyou so much again for taking care of something so precious. x

Our brave little girl Daisy May battled too long but we had to make the worst decision of our lives when she started to deteriorate very rapidly. Everything happened so quickly we did not have time to plan what would be after her departure. However when we found it too heart breaking preparing a place of rest for her in our garden we decided on a cremation. I was so drawn to the Web Site of Chestnut Lodge and felt much comfort when I phoned and made arrangements. As soon as we arrived we were met and all felt a sense of calm and given lots of time to say our final farewell to Daisy in the Chapel of rest. Everything returned was so carefully packaged with lots of thought and care. Daisy May is now back at home where she belongs and we are close once again. Thank you so much x

Our little cat Oscar sadly got run-over on 10th November and we were devastated, he was only 16 months old :o(
Not having had a pet before we didn't know what to do but didn't have the option to bury him.
Our vet surgery gave us a leaflet for Chestnut Lodge and our decision was made.
When we received our scatter tin and heart keepsake we were so touched by the way it had been packaged, the thought that had gone into the poem in the inside of the tin lid and the kind words in our card...it felt like someone really understood how sad we were feeling.
In a terrible situation this was the best outcome and now Oscar is back home with us I feel more at peace.
Thank you.

We lost our precious Greyhound Flash on 1st November 2011. This came out of the blue and was a terrible shock to us both.
We were aware of Chestnut Lodge and turned to them to help us with our special boy.
We cannot thank the ladies who received Flash enough, their professionalism and compassion were exceptional.
Thank you for your respect and care.

My Mum lost her best friend and companion "Pippin" (a Yorkie) very suddenly after a short illness which left both of us in very much shock and distress. Thanks to Google I found Chestnut Lodge and thereafter our prayers were answered. We found the whole experience very compassionate to both ourselves and Pippin and was able to get a lot of comfort by giving him the send-off he deserved. We cannot thank the team at Chestnut Lodge enough and will continue to recommend all animal lovers to use their services when the time comes to say goodbye.

It's almost one month now since I had my dear cat 'Lucy' cremated at Chestnut Lodge. I feel I need to write to you to let you know what a superb job Riann Copper did for 'Lucy'. Riann was not only polite and friendly, but she explained each stage of the cremation in detail to my sister and I, which I found very consoling. It's not usual to find someone so dedicated to their work, but Riann was the exception. She allowed me to attend at every part of the cremation, which has helped me to have closure, and she was professional at every stage to the end. I'm aware of the immense pressure it can be for someone to watch you at your work, but Riann's friendly and helpful attitude was outstanding, as was her staff on the day.
Thank you so much for ensuring that the practice you have at Chestnut Lodge is run to extremely high standards. Your website is excellent in that it explains everything in great detail for animal lovers like myself to understand. I will most certainly recommmend your services to all my animal lover friends and family.
Many thanks again for looking after my 'Lucy' so well in her cremation at Chestnut Lodge.
PS: I would be happy for this email to be published on your website if you wish.
